Year B Liturgy and Prayers for Worship
For most worship services, I write much of my own liturgy. Find more information about my approach in my initial blog post about this. This is a helpful way for me to enter and begin studying the passages for the week. Understanding these resources might be useful to others, I’m posting them below and on other pages for other lectionary years. For many of the Sunday and festival days, I have written a call to worship, call to confession, corporate prayer of confession, assurance of pardon, and prayer of dedication. For a number of the days provided below, pieces are missing as I may have used liturgy from the PC(USA) Book of Common Worship (1993), Worship Sourcebook, or any of a number of other resources. For other resources and other years of the Revised Common Lectionary, see the Resources page or Links page.
